It is well in the interests of official peace to give a carte blanche to three gentlemen who are well known to be personal friends of Mr. Price,— that is, Mr. Justice Snowden, Dr Stewart, the Acting Colonial Secretary, and Mr O'Malley, the Attorney General, to deal with the case, referring to them all the papers and letting them investigate it on the spot.
By doing so, Your Lordship would have been spared so much trouble, and Mr. Price's complaints would have been thoroughly investigated on the spot.
